Infographic: The 12 most misunderstood English words

As communicators, we communicate. And to communicate, we need to ensure we use the proper words, tone and, of course, grammar.

I thought it would be of value, to share an infographic I stumbled upon on PR Daily clarifying certain meanings behind commonly misused English words.

My favourite is: infamous. I am guilty for have using infamous in a positive matter, describing someone as the “more” famous than famous, the infamous. When in reality, the true definition is one who has an extremely bad reputation. I apologize to all the names I have put following the word infamous.
